Who is responsible for your information
Carton.Friends is operated by Individual Entrepreneur ANTON SAPRYKIN, registered in Georgia, identification number 305885129. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Registered address: Georgia, Tbilisi, Vake district, Shalva Nutsubidze Street, No. 125a, floor 4, apartment No. 20.
For privacy enquiries and requests, contact info@carton-friends.com.
This policy covers carton-friends.com and our handling of enquiries received through the website or in follow-up correspondence. Our website presents our products and services and allows you to request information and quotations. It does not take payments or conclude sales contracts online.
Information you provide
Depending on your enquiry, we receive your name, email address, phone number, messenger contact, company name and your role or contact details as a company representative. We also receive the information you include about selected products, quantities, specifications, project location, requested dates and other requirements.
If needed to prepare your quotation, we may request a delivery or project address, postal code and company registration or tax details. We request invoicing information separately when it becomes necessary. Please do not include payment-card information, passport copies, sensitive personal information or unnecessary information about other people in a website enquiry.
If you provide a colleague’s contact details, please ensure that you are entitled to do so and share this policy with them. We will use those details only as needed for the relevant enquiry and provide any further notice required by applicable law.
Fields identified as required are needed to handle that type of request. Without sufficient contact and project information, we may be unable to respond or prepare a meaningful quotation. Optional fields may be left blank.
Website information
The website and its infrastructure may process technical information needed to deliver pages, maintain security and investigate faults, including IP addresses, request timestamps, browser and device information and error records. Browser storage used for website functions is explained in the Cookie Policy. To suggest the relevant country and pricing, the website may send a request from your browser to ipapi.co. This request exposes your IP address to that service and returns a country code. You can change the selected country manually. This feature does not request precise GPS coordinates from your browser.
Why we use your information
We use enquiry details to respond, discuss your requirements, assess production and delivery options, prepare a quotation and continue the conversation you requested. When you enquire about entering a contract personally, this processing is undertaken to take steps at your request before a possible contract. For company representatives and general business enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business communications, taking account of your rights and reasonable expectations.
We also use information where necessary to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Where processing requires your consent, we ask separately and explain the specific purpose. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing messages.
We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Who can access your information
Enquiries are handled by the owner and an authorised manager. The manager may access enquiries from the United Arab Emirates. Access is limited to what is needed to respond and coordinate the request.
We use Tilda for the website and, where configured, form handling, and Zoho Mail for business email. These providers process information needed to supply their services. We also use ipapi.co to suggest your country from your IP address. A messenger provider also processes communications if you choose to contact us through that service.
We may disclose information to professional advisers or competent authorities where necessary for a legal obligation or a specific legal matter. If your enquiry develops into a project requiring additional recipients, we will explain the relevant arrangements. We do not sell enquiry contact lists.
International processing
We operate from Georgia. Access by our manager in the United Arab Emirates and the use of service providers can involve processing outside your country. The actual locations depend on the services and account regions used.
How long we keep information
For enquiries that do not result in an order, we keep the enquiry and related correspondence for up to 12 months after the last substantive communication, unless you ask for earlier deletion and no applicable reason requires further retention.
If an enquiry develops into a contract, relevant information becomes part of the project records and is retained according to the applicable contractual, accounting and legal requirements. If a specific dispute or legal requirement calls for longer retention, we keep only the information needed for that purpose and restrict its use accordingly.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you can request information about processing, access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction or an appropriate copy, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Write to info@carton-friends.com. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity. We respond within the period required by the law applicable to your request and explain any lawful limitation.
You may also complain to the State Audit Office of Georgia in relation to data protection, or another competent supervisory authority where applicable. You do not have to contact us first.
Updates
We update this policy when our processing changes and display the effective date above. Where required, we provide additional notice or request a new consent before starting a new use of your information.
